The first post of posty goodness

Goooooooooooooood Morning/Afternoon/Evening, ladies and gents! You have officially taken your first steps into my world. Come on in and take a seat, let the fun begin

Seeing as how this is the first post, I thought it would be good to properly introduce myself. My name is Rob Houston, and I am a 28 year old heathen living in Zephyrhills, Florida. I have recently been made Chieftain of Sjueakelda Frith, a group that was started by myself and Charles Pierce. Since it’s beginnings, Charles has passed away leaving me to run things in his stead. I am also one of the founding members of Sacred Pathways Coven, along with a small group of friends who I would gladly lay my life on the line for. At one time I was extremely active in the pagan community here, but that changed near the middle of last year. Now I tend to stick with those few people I know I can trust.

At the moment I am single and coming out of yet another bad relationship. Anyone who has known me for any length of time would quickly agree that I have not made the greatest choices when it comes to relationships, but that seems to be the theme for the time we live in. I am working in a hotel in tampa, but hope to change that face very soon, as I am looking to get into the RoadMaster School of Driving. In my eyes, the rigors of life on the road would be a welcome breath of fresh air as opposed to dealing with the constant flow of whiners, crybabies and petulant children that call themselves hotel guests. Never in my life have I dealt with a group of people who feel so entitled to EVERYTHING! I’m sorry you couldn’t figure out how to properly use your coffee maker, but please explain to me how that equates to the hotel comping your room for one night…

I am without a doubt one of the biggest wrestling marks (note for those who don’t live and breath wrestling: look up the phrase wrestling mark) walking the planet. I remember BEGGING my parents to order PPVs as a child (thanks to the internet, I watch every ppv at no cost!). Hell, at one time I was a very active wrestler in the tampa area (that would be where the name Mike Mayhem comes from, in case you were wondering). I trained at the Florida Wrestleplex at Ron Neimi’s school (when he was running IPW). I am the 5 time HWF Heavyweight Champion, 3 time HWF Tag Team Champion, 1 time CWF Hardcore Champion, 1 time CWF Cruiserweight Champion (don’t ask, it was a hell of a storyline) and 1 time CWF Tag Team Champ… Pretty impressive, isn’t it? Too bad neither of those  companies exist anymore. HWF went bankrupt and CWF packed up and moved to miami. The only indy fed left in this area is FCW, and with WWE using that fed as their devolopmental territory I HIGHLY doubt I will ever wrestle there. EVER.

I am a musician. Not a very GOOD one, but I make the attempt none the less. At the moment I can play drums (hand drums and drum kit), guitar and bass,  and native american flute (thanks, Joe). When I was younger (and more naive) I played drums for a christian band called No One Denied. I was also the drummer for the youth band (and occasionally the “big church” band, but only when they were desprate). Year later I helped to create would would become Sacred Pathways Chorus (obviously made up of members of the coven, plus a few close friends). We get together to practice once a week, and we hold weekly drum circles at the coven stead. We’ve recently wrote our first original song, and hope to unleash it upon an unsuspecting Florida Pagan Gathering

That’s all I really have for now. I will do my best to update every day, or at least on a semi-regular basis.
